The Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium offers a variety of fitness class programs! Classes are included in the membership. There’s a class for every age group and fitness level. Our group fitness program includes energetic fitness instructors who can teach a variety of formats including Zumba, Yoga, Strength Training, Water Resistance, and more!
Abs & Step Aerobics
A combination of ab and core exercises paired with traditional aerobics using a platform (step). Improves overall fitness by building strength, reducing fat, and boosting overall cardiovascular health.
Bootcamp
This military-inspired circuit workout commands power, strength and agility. As you maneuver your way through each workout station, you'll lunge, crunch, and box your way to a full body workout.
Cycle & Tone
A full body workout that combines cycling drills and light weights on the bike for conditioning the arms and back.
Deep Water Fitness *Please Note: Water Temperature in Competition Pool is 81 degrees*
A high energy aqua fitness class using the resistance and buoyancy of deep water to develop flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and core strength. Flotation devices provided.
Floor & Core
This class will get you where it counts! ABS Lower and upper. Core strength stabilizing exercises target the entire core.
Isometrics
Isometric exercises are tightening (contractions) of a specific muscle or group of muscles without joint or limb motion. Simply put, isometric exercise is any type of exercise that holds the body in one position while helping to build and maintain strength.
Kickboxing
This high-energy, full-body workout is designed to enhance your strength, endurance, and coordination while burning calories and toning muscles. In this kickboxing group fitness class, you'll experience the power of real kickboxing techniques—jab, cross, hook, uppercut, and powerful kicks—all without the need for any equipment.
Line Dancing
An aerobic workout which will help you to maintain a healthy heart and you can choose how much you exert yourself. Line dances can be different speeds so the faster the routines, the harder your heart works.
Muscle Mix
This is an energizing class that is designed to develop muscular endurance, strength, balance agility and more. Regular strength training helps to reduce body fat and preserve your muscle mass and bone density. A benefit for all ages and all fitness levels.
Pilates
Designed to enhance core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. This low-impact workout focuses on controlled movements and proper alignment, making it suitable for all fitness levels. Using your body weight and minimal equipment, you’ll engage in a series of exercises that promote balance, coordination, and posture.
Senior Cardio Sculpt
This class includes a warm-up, followed by heart-pumping cardio moves, and strength exercises using light weights or resistance bands to sculpt and strengthen the body. The class finishes with gentle stretching to enhance flexibility and mobility. It’s a great way to build endurance, improve bone density. Whether you’re new to exercise or an experienced fitness enthusiast, this class can be modified to suit your needs!
Sit & Be Fit
Emphasizing proper breathing and postural alignment, this class is designed to balance out the body with a focus on core strengthening and exercises to improve flexibility, balance, strength, agility, circulation, range of motion, and coordination. Great for people who want a low-impact aerobics class where they may need to sit instead of stand.
Spin Class
Builds endurance and strength through intervals of high intensity and recovery by using special stationary exercise bicycles. Hand-picked music will be played to motivate and inspire!
Stretching & Mobility
Stretching & Mobility improves range of motion (flexibility) for all muscle groups through various elongation and lengthening stretching techniques.
Step Aerobics & Strength Training
A combination of a classic step aerobics workout with added strength training exercises with weights to help maintain and build muscle!
Strength, Balance, & Stretch
A total body workout with a focus on strengthening the core and limbs while amplifying the body’s movement by improving muscle tone, balance, posture, and mobility.

A complete body toning workout utilizing dumbbell equipment. In this hi/low workout training program you will build endurance, confidence and help you achieve the body you well deserve.
Total Body Blast
Focusing on all muscle groups, Total Body Blast is designed to develop muscular endurance, strength, balance, agility and more. Regular strength training helps to reduce body fat and preserve your muscle mass and bone density. A benefit for all ages and all fitness levels.
Track Hustle & Muscle
Blends strength training with the calming rhythm of the indoor track. This class allows you to build strength using weights, and bodyweight exercises plus taking the track at your own pace—whether you prefer a sprint, brisk walk, light jog, or a slow-paced lap. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class is designed to help you move at a pace that feels right for you while improving both strength and stamina.

Wild Card
Chosen by our instructor weekly, includes diverse workout styles from aerobic cardio to abs, stretching and balance, bootcamp, strength training circuits, and everything in between. Each class offers a fresh and exciting workout experience. You'll never get bored with our ever-changing routines!
Yoga
Hold poses with the correct body alignment to increase your strength, endurance, and flexibility with stretching. End the class with mental and physical relaxation. This class is for the mind, body, and soul.
Zumba
A Latin cardio-dance workout incorporating beats and rhythms. Put a smile on your face while getting fit.
Zumba Step
A lower-body workout that incorporates Zumba routines and step aerobics with Latin dance rhythms.
Zumba Toning
Combines the fun, high-energy dance rhythms of traditional Zumba with light, muscle-shaping toning work. Using Zumba Toning Sticks or light hand weights, participants sculpt their arms, core, and lower body while moving to upbeat Latin and international music. This class is perfect for those who want a calorie-burning cardio workout that also helps define muscles.
