All swimming lessons are led by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. We offer classes for all ages including:

• Parent/Child (6 months-3 years)
• Preschool classes (4-5 years)
• Learn To Swim Levels 1-6 for children 6 years and older
• Adult Lessons

Private lessons are also available. Please check our Swim Lesson Schedule as our classes vary from season to season.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. EMS professionals and healthcare providers are prepared to give the best medical care, but they're not the first ones to respond. You are!

You must take the critical first steps in giving care until help arrives. This American Red Cross certification will give you the confidence, knowledge, and skills to recognize a life-threatening emergency and give immediate care.

This certification is valid for two years upon successful completion.

Ever wanted to know what it's like to be a lifeguard, but are too young to get certified? Now's your chance to become a Junior Lifeguard. Learn how to work as a team, how to recognize a victim, and shadow actual lifeguards. Must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards breast stroke.

Kayaking doesn’t get much cooler than this! Drop in and use our equipment to try your hand at kayaking in the pool! All ages and abilities are welcome. For those too young to paddle themselves, staff will tow the kayak along the pool wall. All participants must wear a lifejacket, which will be provided onsite.

Does your kiddo dream of being a mermaid and swimming with fish? Now’s your chance with Pearland Mermaid University! In this 90-minute class, your mermaid will learn fun skills, tricks, and safety with a tail and fin. Safety is our TOP priority. Are you mermaid tail ready?

You MUST be able to:

• Float - 30 seconds on back, 30 seconds on front.
• Take a breath while floating on front
• Roll from front to back
• Roll from back to front
• Tread water for approximately one minute;
• Swim 25 yards in any manner;
• Perform the dolphin kick.
