Hometown Christmas Festival

Location: Independence Park, 3449 Pearland Parkway

Parking: General parking will be at Pearland Highschool (3775 S. Main)

and ADA parking available at the Independence Park Liberty Drive Entrance

Cost: Admission is Free

Feel the Christmas Spirit come alive as Pearland Parks & Recreation kicks off the Hometown Christmas Festival. Join us for an evening of stage entertainment, shopping, music, lights, inflatables, food trucks and much more! Our lively stage program will feature a visit from City Council, community leaders, Santa Claus and Mayor Cole as they come together to spread Christmas cheer for Pearlanders far and near.

Spend some time playing in the snow at the H-E-B Winter Wonderland and stick around for the magical Drone show presented by University of Houston Clear Lake at Pearland beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Hometown Christmas Parade

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: FM 518 (Broadway), from Old Alvin Road to Pearland Parkway

Once upon a December, the streets of Pearland come alive with twinkling lights, jolly music, and the wonder of the season. The Hometown Christmas Parade invites neighbors near and far to gather along the route and watch as floats inspired by timeless holiday tales glide by, accompanied by merry dancers, cheerful bands, and a few magical surprises.

Theme: Classic Christmas Stories

Bundle up, bring your holiday spirit, and join us for a charming celebration that feels straight out of your favorite Christmas story.

Tour De Lites

Purchase tickets here

Check-in/registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Judges kick off the event by selecting the best decorated bicycles at 6:30 p.m., followed by a one and half hour ride leaving at 7:15 p.m. that is designed for youth and adults. Refreshments will be available prior to the ride.

A limited number of on-site registrations will be available at the event.

Join us for the 30th Annual Tour De Lites bike ride at Independence Park on Saturday, December 9! Enjoy family fun, decorating contests, and holiday lights!

The Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland, Pearland Parks and Recreation, and Pearland Bicycles host this family-friendly guided bicycle ride that starts at Independence Park and tours Pearland’s Green Tee Terrace community. Cyclists will have an up-close view of holiday lights.

And if you don't ride, you can view the lights while riding on the hayride! (Space is limited, and pre registration is required.)
